    About the Speaker: With over 30 years of experience in the Information Systems and Technology industries, Steven Davis has dedicated his career to the premise that computer systems can be developed better, faster and more cost-effectively with the suitable application of people skills, effective processes and functional technology.

    He is the Director of the Requirements Engineering Practice at Orasi Software, Inc. located in Atlanta, Georgia. His role primarily focuses on helping clients implement customer-driven development practices, requirements elicitation techniques and requirements engineering processes.

    In previous roles, Steven Davis was a Requirements Engineering Manager at Technology Builders, Inc. (TBI), a data administrator at Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin), a methodology architect at Deloitte Consulting, chief methodologist at Vanstar Corporation, and director of Methodology Administration at Structured Solutions Incorporated. He has worked, taught and mentored in many industries including aerospace, financial, insurance, medical, global consulting, military, global logistics, construction, and banking.

    A prolific speaker for organizations such as IIBA, PMI, QAI, ICSPI, ASQ, IEEE, QAA and SPIN, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is a certified instructor of “In Search of Excellent Requirements,” and “Writing Quality Requirements” courses based on Karl Wiegers' highly acclaimed book Software Requirements Volume 2 (Microsoft Press 2003).
